Notes:
Aug 21, 1989 Prototype Version of The Super
Shinobi, or The Revenge of Shinobi, the beta
was included in PC Smash Pack Vol.1, according
to TCRF. The difference between this prototype
version, and the final version, is that the
final version has only 19 tracks. While the
prototype has only 7 tracks.

Im terrible at explaining things, but here's
what I hear between the prototype version, and
the final version of the game's soundtrack.

"The Shinobi" is used on title screen, Levels
4-1, 8-1 instead of Level 1, where that song
is used in the final version. The beginning
part is different than the final version,
It's because, they added the lower note part
at the start of the track which, prototype
version never had.

"China Town" is used on Levels 1-1, 2-1, 6-1
in the prototype, instead of only Level 6 in
the final version. Also, there's no PSG chord
at the beginning of the track, which the final
version had.

"Make Me Dance" is also used on Levels 1-2,
2-2, 3-1, 3-3, 4-2 and 5-1 in the prototype
version, instead of only Level 2-2 in in the
final version. The trumpet lead part, on the
first part, there's slightly low on volume on
that, the rest is flat note. Unlike the final
version, which the trumpet lead part is on
normal volume, and has vibrato on it.

"Terrible Beat" is also used in boss music
too. Same as the final version. But in the
prototype version, That track uses this on
Levels 3-2, and 8-2. Although, there's no
PSG part in the middle on the prototype
version, which the final version does.

"Run or Die" track is used on Levels 4-2 and
6-2 in the prototype version, while it was
used on Levels 3-2 and 6-2 in the final
version. the drum roll on the intro and the
end of the track only plays 1 drum note sample
compared to the final version, which there's
a full drum roll version of the game. And also
the lead part is more on flat, than vibrato on
the final version.

"Over the Bay" is also used on Level 7. The
final version on the other hand, used on
Levels 7-1, and 8-1. Also, there's no PSG
lead on this track over the prototype version.

Other tracks such as "Opening", "Long
Distance" "Sunrise Blvd.", "Ninja Step",
"The Dark City", "Like a Wind", "Labyrinth",
"The Ninja Master", "Failure", "My Lover",
"Silence Night", and "Game Over", are missing
in the prototype version of this game.

Drums in this prototype version is different
from the final version. Also on the
composition too. The drum snare samples
are using the samples from Phantasy Star
II US, according to Hidden Palace.

Suprisingly, they forgot to rip this beta
version of the game, that's why I do it by
myself.

Title Screen in the prototype version is
the same as the final version (Japanese
version).

Track listing are according to prototypes
round level, in order.

Also, there's another prototype of this
game, but the music of this, is the same as
the final version. I'm talking about Feb 1,
1990 prototype.
